The Duke City Hamfest will host its traditional Saturday Morning Tailgate on September 20th, starting at 6:00am. The tailgate will be held in the north-west corner of the hotel’s parking lot.

A few walk-up spots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis for $20 each. Each spot includes two parking spaces: one for your vehicle, and one to display your items for sale. Be sure to bring your own chairs and tables, as they will not be provided. Only registered attendees of the Hamfest will be allowed to purchase a sales spot, or put another way, you must have a DCHF attendee badge or pay for a walk-up registration ($25) before you can purchase a tailgate spot. Individuals merely looking and purchasing items do not need to pay admission, but must have a DCHF badge to enter the main event venue.

Additionally, Boy Scout Troop 285 will be selling breakfast burritos during the tailgate as a fundraiser. They plan to purchase breakfast burritos, muffins, bottled water and to make coffee for sale. Their table will be set up outside the north side door of the Embassy Suites Hotel.
