Join us Saturday evening, September 20 for the Duke City Hamfest Banquet. Joe Eisenberg, K0NEB, will be our featured speaker giving a funny look at his adventures during 56 years of ham radio. Starting with how he was introduced to the hobby up until today’s writing for amateur radio publications, Joe will give a fun look at the adventures amateur radio can bring and how they shaped his interest in building and spreading the word on how to best enjoy this aspect of our hobby.

About Joe Eisenberg, K0NEB

Joe Eisenberg’s career was mostly in the IT industry as a field service engineer. First licensed in 1969, Joe is a life member and Diamond Club member of the ARRL as well as a Life member of the Dayton Amateur Radio Association. He is a member of the Lincoln Amateur Radio Club as well as the Aksarben ARC, a co-founder of the Mid-America Coordination Council, and has served local clubs in many ways. Joe was presented the YASME Foundation’s Award of Excellence in 2020. In 2020, he also received Nebraska’s highest civilian honor from the Governor for producing over 350 clear face shields using his 3D printer for local first responders during the beginning of the pandemic.
