Volunteer Registration

All attendees must register to participate in any of the hamfest activities. Volunteers must pay the normal admission fee but will receive a “thank you” gift of ten (10) additional general prize tickets upon completion of their shift. All volunteers must pre-register.

Volunteers are expected to provide service for 1/2 day (morning or afternoon). Tasks may include helping at the registration table, presentation room minder, or miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Volunteer registration on the day of the hamfest will not be available.

Volunteer time slots are

  • Thursday Afternoon (setup)
  • Saturday Morning
  • Saturday Afternoon
  • Sunday Morning
  • Sunday Afternoon (teardown)
  • VE Team Member
  • Tailgate

Volunteers for the Tailgate and VE Team members will be pre-coordinated.

Please only register for one volunteer option via the store /checkout process. If you would like to volunteer for more than one shift please contact volunteers@dukecityhamfest.org after you have registered.
