DCHF RV Parking

We have received several inquiries about the availability of overnight RV parking and “Dispersed Camping” facilities at the Duke City Hamfest.

This year’s Hamfest event will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. Unfortunately, overnight parking of a RV or camping in any form is not allowed.

A quick search of the Internet shows that some of the local Walmart and Sam’s Club stores still allow overnight parking. But this is at the discretion of the local manager and can change quickly. The DCHF assumes no responsibility for this availability.

There is an Albuquerque KOA Journey campground located about 9 miles (14 minutes) from the Embassy Suites, near Central Ave. and Tramway Blvd. The RV Parky website shows a variety of locations in and around Albuquerque, New Mexico for overnight RV parking.

We would also like to point out that the Duke City Hamfest Planning Committee has arranged for a block of rooms to be reserved for Hamfest attendees at the Embassy Suites at the reduced rate of $169 per night.
