Meal Menus and Banquet Information

Join us for our free Friday night mixer, as well as our annual Saturday DX/Contesting Breakfast, Saturday Night Banquet, and Sunday morning breakfast. Each of these meals requires advance sign-up on our convention registration form. If you bypass meals the first time but have second thoughts, you can sign up for them later using the form's "Add Items" function. The mixer and each prepaid meal include a guest speaker and a raffle. Each registrant for a meal receives a ticket for that meal's raffle. These prepaid meals help us meet Isleta's food-and-beverage minimums for our convention, which in turn allows us to keep our costs to you stable. If you already have registered but want to add meals, use the main registration form and select "Adding items" from the drop-down menu at the top of the form.

 

In addition, this year we will have three pay-on-the-spot meals: Breakfast Friday morning, and Friday and Saturday lunches. All meals will be served in Ballroom A. For meal times, menus, and our guest speakers, check out the descriptions below. 

Friday Breakfast, Friday and Saturday Lunches

 

All of our meals are available inside the convention area for your convenience. Find a cozy spot to munch and to chat with friends. In an all-day session? They break for lunch, too.  All meals will be served in Ballroom A.

Friday Breakfast Menu

7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

  • Denver-style Croissant Breakfast Sandwich w/ham, egg, and cheese - $4.75

  • New Mexican Breakfast Burrito w/carne adovada, eggs, and cheese - $4.75

  • Yogurt parfaits w/granola and berries - $4.50

Additional offerings:

Cinnamon roll - $3.50

Sodas/tea - $3.00

Assorted fruit - $2.00

Coffee - $2.00

Juices - $1.00

Side of red or green chile sauce - $0.75

Friday Lunch Menu

11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Indian Taco w/beef, beans, red chile, and cheese - $7.00

  • Cheeseburger - $6.50

  • Bratwursts - $6.50

  • Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich - $6.50

  • Calabacitas Burrito w/zucchini, yellow squash, onions, corn, and green chile - $6.00

Saturday Lunch Menu

11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Indian Taco w/beef, beans, red chile, and cheese - $7.00

  • Indian Taco w/calabacitas, green chile, and cheese - $7.00

  • Hamburger - $6.00

  • Polish sausage w/peppers and onions - $6.00

  • Green chile pork stew w/flour tortillas - $6.50

Assorted ice-cream bars also wlll be available at $2.50 each, sodas/tea $3.00 each, and potato chips $1.00 a bag. Condiments and garnishes will be available for sandwiches and burgers.

Speaker and raffle:  6:00-7:30 p.m.

Capicola ham, proscuitto, Genoa salami, fresh mozzarella and provolone cheese, marinated artichokes, roasted red bell peppers, Kalamata olives, peperroncini, and a selection of crostinis (small slices of grilled toast) and pita chips.

Each person who registered on line will qualify for this raffle. You need not be present to win.

Each person attending the mixer will receive a ticket for this raffle.

Seasonal sliced fruit with berries, assorted Danish and breakfast breads, farm-fresh scrambled eggs, home-style potatoes, sausage links and smoked bacon, selection of cereals, granola, and milk

Plus orange juice, regular and decaf coffee, and a hot-tea selection
